Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly and information generated by your use of the Service:

• Account information: username, email address, password (hashed, never stored in plain text), display name, bio, avatar, and social links you add to your profile.
• Google account information: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google as part of the OAuth process.
• Submission data: campaign submissions, video links, and view/like/comment counts associated with your clips.
• Payout information: the withdrawal method and destination address or username you provide (e.g., a wallet address or Cash App username).
• Usage data: log data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically to keep the Service secure and reliable.

• To create and manage your account, and authenticate your sign-ins.
• To review campaign submissions and calculate earnings.
• To process withdrawal requests and send payouts to the destination you provide.
• To send transactional emails (email verification, password resets, and notifications you’ve opted into).
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
• To improve and maintain the reliability and security of the Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate Clipblox — for example, our email delivery provider (to send verification and notification emails), our hosting and database providers, and Google (for OAuth sign-in). These providers are only permitted to use your information to perform services on our behalf.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Clipblox, our users, or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

We retain your account and submission data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile, submissions, earnings, and withdrawal history are permanently removed from our systems, except where we’re required to retain records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

You can review and update most of your information at any time from your Profile and Settings pages, including your email, password, notification preferences, and social links. You can permanently delete your account from Settings. If you have questions about your data that aren’t covered by these self-service tools, contact us on Discord.

Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and never stored in plain text. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and follow reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable available account protections.

Clipblox is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
